At Back Home, we want your outdoor space to feel beautiful, safe, and worry-free. That’s why the Tempest Torch comes with a warranty package that protects your investment and supports you every step of the way.

Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty Coverage

The Tempest Torch is backed by the manufacturer’s limited warranty through Travis Industries / Fire Garden Outdoors — covering defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and to products purchased through an authorized dealer.

Coverage Timing

• Initial 90 Days: Parts and labor are covered on eligible components.
• Up to 1 Year: Continued parts and labor coverage for key structural components of the torch.

Warranty applies to core components that fail due to defect, including burners, glass (for breakage from thermal shock), and ignition parts — subject to the manufacturer’s specific terms, exclusions, and limitations.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, discoloration, misuse, improper installation, environmental damage, or damage caused by unauthorized modification.

To make the warranty process as smooth as possible for you:

1. Contact Back Home Warranty Team First — We’ll help you troubleshoot the issue and gather all the necessary information before filing a claim on your behalf.
2. We Submit to the Manufacturer — Our team handles the warranty submission, communicates with the manufacturer, and keeps you updated on status.
3. Manufacturer Decision & Resolution — If a component qualifies under the limited warranty, the manufacturer will repair or replace it according to their terms.

Why this matters: By working through Back Home, you get dedicated support and faster communication — but you can still work directly with the manufacturer if you prefer.

Important Claim Notes

• Warranty eligibility generally requires a proof of purchase and the product serial number.
• Claims must be submitted through the Back Home warranty form or customer service contact.
• Visible damage from shipping should be reported separately as a freight claim within 48 hours of delivery.

What’s Not Covered

• Damage from improper installation (must be installed by a licensed professional).
• Environmental exposure beyond normal use.
• Cosmetic changes like finish discoloration or scratches.
• Damage caused by misuse or failure to follow the owner’s manual guidelines.
